Englewood and the smaller incorporated community of Sheridan are located on the southwestern edge of Denver. The community boarders the exclusive community of Cherry Hills Village on its east side. Englewood was incorporated in 1903. The oldest remaining homes in Englewood today were built around 1916 with the newest homes being built in the mid 1980´s. This is one area of metro Denver where you can still find a home for under $100,000. Most of the 15,000 homes in Englewood currently range from the low $100,000s to the mid $300,000´s in value. Both residential and commercials ares can be found in Englewood.

Englewood Public Schools offer an excellent education opportunity for children. Englewood also offers a system of well established parks and open space. Although Englewood is one of metro Denver´s smallest suburban communities, there is even a golf course available for residents to enjoy. The Englewood Golf Course offers both a par-three and a regulation 18-hole course.
Excellent medical services are available at Swedish Hospital and Porter Hospital. The Cherry Creek Mall and the Park Meadows shopping center are both short drives away.
Other attractions for residents of Englewood and Sheridan include the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds and the retail, commercial and residential development bordering the Platte River where Centennial Race track once stood.
